    Junior B2B Marketing & Content Co-ordinator (Part-Time)

Part-time, 15 hours per week across 3 days (schedule to be agreed) – UK Head Office

Founded in 1989, applied acoustics is a world-leading, award-winning British manufacturer of specialist marine electronic-acoustic products.

Headquartered at our state-of-the-art facility in Great Yarmouth, we design and manufacture innovative subsea navigation, underwater positioning (USBL) systems and marine seismic survey equipment.

Our products are used by commercial, academic and defence customers around the world, supported by an established global distributor network. We pride ourselves on technical excellence, British manufacturing quality and strong, long-standing B2B partnerships.

    Role Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative B2B Marketing & Content Co-ordinator to join our team.

This is a varied, hands-on role ideally suited to someone at the beginning of their marketing career who enjoys creating digital content and would like to develop their skills within an international B2B environment.

The role will work closely with the Sales & Marketing Manager, who will set marketing priorities, provide briefs and direction, and oversee the overall marketing plan. The Marketing & Content Co-ordinator will focus primarily on the practical creation and delivery of marketing materials in response to those briefs.

You will help produce content across social media, photography, video, graphic design, website updates, email marketing and exhibitions. The Sales & Marketing Manager will provide guidance throughout the process and review and approve content and marketing materials before they are published, distributed or released externally.

You will not be expected to develop marketing strategy or campaigns independently. Instead, you will have the opportunity to build your practical marketing and creative skills while working to clear briefs with the support and direction of an experienced manager.

You don’t need to be an expert in subsea technology. We will help you learn about our products, customers and industry. What’s more important is creativity, attention to detail, a willingness to learn and an enthusiasm for turning technical information into clear and engaging content.

    Key Responsibilities

    Content Creation
Create engaging marketing content in response to briefs from the Sales & Marketing Manager, including product features, company news, staff stories and behind-the-scenes content.

    Videography & Editing
Assist with planning and producing product demonstrations, staff interviews and corporate videos. Film and edit short-form and longer-form content for LinkedIn, YouTube, the company website and other marketing channels.

    Photography
Capture high-quality photographs of our products, people, facilities and events for use across digital and printed marketing materials.

    Graphic Design
Create and adapt on-brand materials including social media graphics, website banners, product literature, presentations, product labels, exhibition materials and distributor sales collateral.

    Social Media
Prepare and schedule content for our professional social media channels, principally LinkedIn, in accordance with the agreed marketing plan. Monitor engagement and help identify opportunities for future content.

    Copywriting
Draft clear and engaging B2B copy for social media posts, website pages, news articles, emails, product information and marketing materials. Technical information and key messages will be provided or agreed internally, with final content approved before publication.

    Website & SEO
Assist with keeping our WordPress website accurate and up to date, including uploading and editing text, images, news stories and product information. Apply basic SEO principles to help improve the visibility and effectiveness of website content.

    Email Marketing
Prepare customer and distributor email communications, including product updates, newsletters, company news and event communications. Assist with maintaining mailing lists and campaign segmentation.

    Exhibitions & Events
Support the preparation and delivery of marine industry exhibitions and events. This may include preparing marketing collateral, creating exhibition graphics, assisting with event communications and capturing photographs and video during events.

    Brand Consistency & Approval
Ensure marketing materials follow the company’s brand guidelines and agreed briefs. All external-facing content and marketing materials will be submitted to the Sales & Marketing Manager for review and approval before release.
