We have two current opportunities, Assistant to the QHSE Manager and a Product Specialist in Marine Geophysics/Sub-bottom Profiling, as well as news of futures vacancies below.

Assistant to QHSE Manager

We are looking for an additional member to join our team to free up a colleague and take on additional responsibilities.  

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with maintaining the Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental management systems.
  • Internal and external auditing.
  • Non-conformance processing liaising with suppliers, customers and staff.
  • Organising equipment calibrations.
  • Assisting with reviews of Risk Assessments, COSHH Risk Assessments and Environmental Impact Assessments.
  • Keeping legislation, regulations, directives, approved codes of practice, MSDS’ and compliance documents up to date.
  • Undertaking workplace inspections.
  • Organising service and inspection contractors.
  • Organising and issuing of PPE.
  • Assist with root cause analysis.
  • Processing WEEE compliance and other regulative data.
  • Assisting with recycling and waste management.

 The Applicant

  • Previous experience in a QHSE environment.

Product Line Specialist – Marine Geophysics/Sub Bottom Profiling

Reporting to the Group Technical Manager, you will be working as part of our Geophysical Engineering Team in a hands-on capacity as a driving force behind the technical evolution of the company’s market leading range of subsea geophysical survey products. The position involves the evaluation, design, trialling and testing of our next generation of products, along with the implementation and management of their progress into production. As a product specialist, there will be a requirement to offer support to our sales team and assist with post sales advice and technical support to our customers, including the possibility of undertaking field demonstrations and conducting on-site and in-house training sessions.

The Applicant

  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Excellent standard of written and spoken English.

  • Observant, inquisitive and have an ability to solve problems.

  • Flexible.
  • Previous experience in Marine Geophysics a distinct advantage.
